The convenient HI 9813 allows you to measure pH, EC (conductivity) and TDS with just one instrument! The meter has a pH measurement range that covers the full spectrum. The EC range has been extended to 4.00 mS/cm to overcome the limitation of 1.99 mS/cm or 1,990 µS/cm. In the TDS range, this instrument uses the common (also known as 4-4-2) conversion factor approx. 0.65 ppm = 1 µS/cm for fertilizer readings to ensure your measurements fully conform to industry standards. HI 9813 measures TDS in the 0 to 1999 ppm range. The specially engineered HI 1285 probe is interchangeable and the pH electrode utilizes a cloth junction and gel electrolyte which are particularly suitable when used in fertilizer solutions. This probe has also been designed with Hanna's Fast Response Probe (FRP) technology to allow quicker reaction time to changing conditions. Calibration is reduced to one point in the pH mode, and one point in the EC/TDS mode. EC/TDS measurements are automatically compensated for changes in temperature. The meter has a Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) which will not allow readings when the battery level is too low for accurate measurements. With all these features HI 9813 is an excellent addition to your growing tool chest.
HI 9813 is supplied complete with HI 1285 probe with 1 m (3.3') cable, pH 7 buffer (20 mL), 1.41 EC and 1500 ppm calibration solutions (20 mL each), 9V battery and instruction manual.
The pH-EC-TDS (PET) Meter combines three testers in one unit on a 3’ cable. This meter comes with a fast-response replaceable probe, 20 mL pH 7 buffer, 20 mL 1.41 EC and 1500 ppm calibration solutions, a 9V battery and instruction manual. The meter measurement ranges are: pH with a range 0.0 to 14.0 pH and resolution 0.1 pH, EC with a range 0.00 to 4.00 and resolution 0.01, and TDS with a range 0 to 1990 (ppm) and resolution 1 ppm. The accuracy is ±0.2 for pH; EC and TDS have an accuracy of ±2%. This meter features automatic temperature compensation and calibration knobs for 1-point manual calibration, so no screwdriver is required. A battery alert feature also lets customers know when the battery gets low, so they can always keep their meter working. |
